RIP: Tributes paid to the late Captain Noel Royston Williams from Dundalk

Messages have poured in on RIP.ie by many who knew and loved Noel

Tributes have poured in for the late Captain Noel Royston Williams who away passed recently.

Noel was formerly from St. Joseph’s Park in Dundalk and was Captain of the Merchant Navy.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the tender care of the staff in St. Peters's Nursing Home in Castlebellingham on Saturday 29th March 2025.

Noel will be forever loved and dearly missed by his heartbroken daughter Caroline Hoffman and his much-loved son-in-law Kevin, sons Harry and David, grandchildren Jonathon, Martin and their mum Diane, Seán, Megan and Conor, great-grandchildren Molly Grace and Benjamin, brother Peter, extended family relatives and his wonderful neighbours and friends in Larchmont.

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Eileen, with one mourner writing,

"Caroline & Kevin I'm so sorry to hear your lovely Dad Noel has passed away. My heart goes out to you both. I know you will miss him so much. He was such a lovely man. Thinking of you both at this sad time. RIP Noel."

Another message said, "So sorry to hear of your daddy's passing Caroline, a lovely neighbour & a gentleman. Sincere condolences to you, Kevin & all the family. Rest in peace Noel."

"Ah Caroline, so sorry on the passing of your Dad , he was a great Captain on & off the golf course! Condolences to you & your Family, RIP Noel," another tribute read.  

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:

Reposing at his daughter Carolines home, Bellingham Green, Castlebellingham (A91RK28) Monday 2pm to 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.45am driving to St. Mary’s Church, Kilsaran arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk (A91F598).
