Man taken to hospital following Dundalk incident

According to Gardaí his injuries were understood to be non-life-threatening.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of an injured man in Dundalk late on Sunday night.

The man, aged in his 50s, was found with injuries at Ard Easmuinn at approximately 11:00pm on 8th February 2026.

He was subsequently transported by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for treatment.

According to Gardaí his injuries were understood to be non-life-threatening.

Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to contact Dundalk Garda Station on (042) 938 8400.
