Louth County Council has granted planning permission for apartments in Knockbridge

Louth County Council has given the go ahead for the construction of new apartments in the centre of Knockbridge village.

Con MacNamee applied in February of this year for planning permission for the development of six, two-bed apartments in a two-storey height terrace block, over two floors with own door access.

The proposed apartments front directly onto the Louth R171 road, adjacent to the public path extending the existing village building line, with the main vehicular entrance proposed through the existing adjacent car-park entrance.

According to the planning application, the development will provide for extending the footpath along the Louth Road, adjacent to the existing road crossing point.

The planning application also provided for items including all associated development works including adjustments to existing services on site, ground levels, and car-parking.

Louth County Council granted permission for the development on 30 October, subject to 22 planning conditions.
