RIP: Tributes paid after 'lovely daughter and sister' from Louth sadly died

Tributes have poured after a woman from Louth has sadly died recently, leaving many people heartbroken.

Raechel Campbell was from Riverdene, Brewery St, Castlebellingham in Louth, anf formerly Tyrone and Crumlin in Dublin.

She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday 15th October 2025.

She was the much loved daughter of Margaret and the late Páidí Campbell and adored sister of Eve, niece of Anne, Josephine, Mary, Róisín, Gerard, John, Barney, and the late Michael. Deeply missed by her mother, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, her godparents Mary and Jarlath, her godsons Mark and Felix, her colleagues in St James Hospital, and her many friends.

Raechel will repose at her home Riverdene, Brewery St, Castlebellingham (A91 XN34) from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday afternoon to St Marys Church, Kilsaran (A91X519), arriving for Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in Galbally Cemetery, Donaghmore, Co. Tyrone

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Raechel, with one mourner writing,

"Condolences to Margaret and Eve on the sad passing of a lovely daughter and sister Raechel and to all the extended families may she rest in peace".

Another message said, "Our deepest condolences to Margaret and Eve on the loss of your daughter and sister, Raechel. May her gentle soul rest in peace".
