Tributes pour in for 'hardworking' man that had 'huge dreams' who has sadly passed away

Noel Maguire died peacefully at home in the loving care of his wife Rose and sons Sean and Jamie

Tributes have come flooding in for Noel Maguire of Donore, Co Meath and formerly of Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, who tragically passed away on Tuesday, February 25 after a long illness. 

Mr Maguire died peacefully at home in the loving care of his wife Rose and sons Sean and Jamie.

Noel will always be loved and sadly missed by his wife, sons, father Noel snr and his partner Marie, mother Karen, sisters Alice, Angela, Julie, Louise and Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Many friends, family, and former colleagues took to RIP.ie to express their condolences. 

One past co-worker said, "It's with a heavy heart I receive this news, I worked along side this young man, hardworking and devoted to his partner now wife and his children, he had huge dreams for you all but sadly he was called too early. May he rest in peace and live long in the hearts of the people he touched along the way."

A friend commented, "Noel, you are so loved by so many. Although sadness surrounds us at your passing, the memories you created will bring a smile to faces for years to come. You will be so very missed. Love goes out to Rose, Sean, Jamie, Alice and Angela."

While another said, "Heartfelt condolences to Noel's family and the entire McGuire/Maguire families. May his sweet soul rest in peace and may flights of angels sing him to his rest."

Offering sympathies to his family and friends, a good friend of Noel's said he "seemed to accept his illness with such calmness," attesting to the incredible fighter and man he was.

Noel reposed at his home on Wednesday, February 26. His funeral took place today, February 28, in Meath at the Church of The Nativity of Our Lady, Donore with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
