May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Geraldine Duffy of Castleross, Castletown Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her partner Alan, brother Patrick and best friend Jennifer Rogan. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children Lekisha, John and Alan, parents Martin and Frances, brothers James, Emmanuel, Marty and Martin, her son John’s partner Clodagh, sister-in-law Sinéad, her father’s partner Annie, her mother’s partner Michael, her brother Martin’s partner Tara, her nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Friday 14 February from 4pm-8pm. Reposing privately, for family and close friends only, at her mother’s home until removal on Sunday 16 February, to the Church of The Holy Redeemer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castletown. House private, please. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Julia Cole (née Hennelly) of North Commons, Carlingford, Co Louth / Ballinrobe, Co Mayo

Formerly of Cloongowla, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and recently resident of Carlingford Nursing Home where she was cared for with kindness and respect. Predeceased by her loving husband Brian, parents Denis and Delia and brother John. Devoted mother to Dennis, Peigí, Brian, Sheila and Patricia, their spouses Patricia, Jay, Judy, Tom and Dave.

Adoring grandmother to Caleb (his wife Amanda), Breana, Neave (her husband Eric), Áine (here fiancé Andrew), Fiona, Dónal and Aideen. Step grandmother to Rachel and Renée and great grandmother to Tadhg and Rory. Sadly missed by her sisters Kitty and Della, nieces , nephews, and their families, relatives, neighbours and friends.
