May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Kathleen Duffy (née Lennon) of Mill Street, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday 11 February 2025. Kathleen, much loved wife of the late Vincent, dear mother of Michael, Rosemarie, Vincent, and Gavin and the late Paul, devoted granny of Lorraine, Alison, Kyle, Mia, Ryan, Cara, Callum, Michaela and Clíodhna, great-granny of Tiernan, and Elle and sister of Agnes Traynor and Paddy Lennon and the late Mary Grimes (Canada).

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law James Morgan and Michael Ryan, daughter-in-law Barbara, Audrey, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home in Mill Street, from 2pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Madge) Monahan (née Morgan) of Culhane Street, Dundalk and formerly of St. Fursey's Terrace, Blackrock, Co Louth

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday 12 February 2025, after been wonderfully cared for by the nurses in St. Oliver's Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dinny, parents James and Kathleen and her brothers and sisters.

Madge will be sadly missed and remembered by her dear family, sons Dinny, Noel and John, daughters Marian, Sandra and Fiona, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild, her wonderful friend Anita (Germany), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Sandra Gorham's home, Pearse Park on Thursday from 12 noon to 8pm. Removal on Friday afternoon at 12.40pm on foot to St. Patrick's Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
