'A beautiful soul taken too soon' - Tributes pour in following sad death of beloved Louth woman

Tracy Verblis (née Reynolds) passed away on Monday

Tributes have been paid following the sad death of Tracy Verblis (née Reynolds), late of Francis Street, Drogheda and formerly of College Rise.

Tracy passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She is predeceased by her dad Larry.

Beloved wife of Daniel and loving mother to Oliver, Tracy will be sadly missed by her husband, son, mam Mairéad, brother Niall, sisters Sonya, Sheelagh and Nicola, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces extended family and friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Tracy, with one mourner writing,

"I was so deeply saddened to read the news of Tracy’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Tracy many years ago, with lots of fun and laughter along the way, she was a beautiful soul. Sending much love to her entire family. RIP Tracy."

Another wrote,

"Nicola, we are so sorry to hear about Tracy's passing. She fought with incredible strength and bravery over the last few years and was such an inspiration to everyone who followed her journey. Her strength and resilience was remarkable.

"She was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend."

While another wrote,

"Just so sad to hear this. I worked with Tracy in the Drogheda Independent Production Dept.

"I have followed Tracy's incredibly brave battle the last few years, but alas the odds for recovery were just stacked too high. To her husband Daniel & family, I offer my deepest condolences.

"Tracy was in my prayers every day, even today, just gutted."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at Townley’s funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda A92 XN75 on Thursday from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 10am in The Augustinian Church, Shop Street and can be viewed live at this Link, with private Cremation afterwards.

House private at all times please. Family flowers only.
