The death has occurred of David Browne of Craigs Lane, Walterstown, Knockbridge, Co Louth and formerly of Rooskey, Co Mayo

Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 6 January 2025. David, son of Joan and late Nicholas, loving father of Dylan and Oisín, dear brother of Geraldine, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Siobhan and Fergus. He will be sadly missed by his mother, sons, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his mother Joan’s home Craigs Lane, Walterstown, from 3pm until 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin, arriving for Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Dromiskin Cemetery. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers Mc Geoughs Funerals 0429334283.

The death has occurred of Alan Finegan of St John of Gods, Drumcar, Co Louth

Peacefully, following a short illness in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Monday 6 January 2025. Predeceased by his mother Eileen and his brother Dermot. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family, dad Sean, sister Sharon, step-mother Rita, brother in-law Stephen, nephews Draíocht, Heath, Oran and niece Elodie and the wonderful staff in St John Of Gods, Drumcar.

Reposing at Finlay Funeral Home, Tierney Street Ardee on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday leaving Finlay Funeral Home at 11:45am to the Church Of The Nativity Of Our Lady arriving for 12 noon funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Paddy Maguire of Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co Louth formerly of Ladywell Square, Dundalk Co Louth

Peacefully after being lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff at Moorehall Lodge Ardee. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Nora, brothers Mickey and Thomas, sisters Peggy and Bernadette, and nephew Sean Coburn. He will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by his nephews Brian and David Maguire, nieces Grainne Corrigan and Deirdre McEntegart, grand nephews and nieces, his dear friends Martin McCoy, Mark Tynan and Gerry Reynolds and by his wonderful friends in Anam Chara, Moorehall Lodge, Ardee.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home Wednesday 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday Morning at 10.45am driving to St. Patrick's Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Mathews of Annaglog, Ardee, Co Louth

Suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Tuesday 7 January 2025. Predeceased by his parents Jackie and Tina Mathews his brothers Joe and John, and niece Emma (Boylan). He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken and loving wife Teresa (Hamill), his son Alan and Alan's partner Eimear, his brothers Paddy and Donal, sisters Marion, Geraldine, Bernadette and Joan, his aunt Anne (Powderly), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Funeral arrangements later.
