RIP: Tributes pour in for Louth woman remembered as a 'gentle soul'

Elizebeth [Bella] Jones passed away peacefully in her home on January 5, surrounded by her loving family.

The death of Ms Jones occurred following "a long illness borne with great dignity and strength," according to RIP.ie.

Ms Jones was from Drumboat, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan and her burial took place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen.

Ms Jones was "cherished by late Peter Jones and predeceased by daughter Ann, parents James and Mary-Ellen, brother Petie, sisters Rose McArdle, Molly McQuigley," RIP.ie said.

She will be sadly missed by by her beloved sons and daughter, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, brothers and sisters, and her 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children and her extended family. 

As tributes poured in for Ms Jones, she was remembered to regularly attend her local Church meetings and was called "a beautiful, elegant woman."
