Leapmotor C10
Another day another new brand has been launched. This time it’s Leapmotor and initially they have two cars to offer. The first is a compact car called the T03 and the next is, of course it is, the C10 an SUV. Leapmotor is a Chinese brand that Stellantis have a 20% stake in.
As a result of that Stellantis connection it’s no surprise that Gowan Auto, who front all the Stellantis brands here in Ireland like Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot and Honda, are behind Leapmotor too. It’s amazing you can be fronting or be behind a brand and both mean the same.
The T03 is all-electric as is the C10 but the C10 is also available with a range extending 1.5l petrol engine. The driving experience is all-electric with the petrol engine topping up the battery. It’s to alleviate any anxieties you may have before going full-all-electric.

Very quickly these two models will be joined by a further two starting this November, the B10 and the B05. Gone are the days when a name created connotations in the mind like Capri, Escort, Laguna, and Manta.
Now it’s just cold alphanumericals . Prices for the T10 (265km WLTP) start at €18,995 plus delivery related charges, and the C10 (420km WLTP) retailing from €38,995. The range extender starts at €45,420 and all models have a 6-year warranty.
They are available to buy and order now from the four dealers they currently have nationwide. Full reports coming soon in Democrat Motoring.
