The Louth LGFA annual celebration of their clubs was a resounding success, bringing together representatives from all 25 affiliated clubs at the O’Connells GFC complex on Saturday last.
The evening was filled with excitement and anticipation as awards and recognitions were given out to deserving players.

The sold-out event, now in its 15th year, was hosted by Colum Corrigan, who provided lively entertainment as the winners were announced.
The evening saw a host of talented young players and seasoned veterans alike recognised for their outstanding contribution to Louth LGFA.
The awards ceremony honoured the best of the best, with the top players from the Senior, Intermediate and Junior teams receiving their well-deserved accolades.
A highlight of the evening was the induction of Johann Fedigan into the Hall of Fame, a well-deserved honour for a true legend of the sport.
Additionally, former Louth star Lyn Savage received a special presentation from County Chair Amanda Lane to mark the Cooley natives appointment as CEO of the LGFA, a testament to her outstanding achievements and dedication to the sport.
The evening was a joyous celebration of Louth LGFA ‘s achievements, showcasing the county’s passion for Gaelic Games and the dedication of its players, coaches and officials with its strong sense of community and camaraderie. The event truly embodied the spirit of the sport.
