Louth GAA have officially launched their “Field of Fortune” stadium fundraising draw that is aimed at helping get the county’s stadium project across the finish line.

The draw, which was officially announced at DKIT Sport, will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 3rd August 2026, when the top prize of €200,000 will be given away at the Darver Protection & Prosperity GAA Centre of Excellence.

A brand-new €25,000 car from Blackstone Motors and a €10,000 Clinton Travel voucher are also among the main prizes.

Leading up to the draw, supporters can also win a €5,000 prize on 23rd December, another €5,000 in early April, and weekly €1,000 prizes until the main draw.

The new stadium, being built in two phases by Ganson Construction, is now well advanced and due for completion in the third quarter of 2026. It is one of the most significant GAA infrastructure projects in Ireland in decades.

Speaking at the launch, County Board Chairperson Seán McClean said: “Louth GAA are proud to announce the official Launch of the Louth GAA Field of Fortune Cash Draw, and we are delighted to have you join us for this important occasion.

“This draw carries special significance, as all proceeds will go directly toward the continued development and completion of our new Louth GAA Stadium - a transformational project that will provide a modern home for our players, supporters, clubs, and the entire GAA community within the county. Your support will help us create a facility that future generations can be proud of.

“This is much more than a fundraiser - it’s an investment in the future of Louth GAA. We invite all club members, supporters, families, and friends to be part of this exciting step forward.

“Your presence and support will mean so much as we continue building a home worthy of the Gaels, men, ladies, boys and girls in our clubs, in our colleges, in our schools, in our communities throughout our County.

“I would like to recognise and sincerely thank all our sponsors for all their help and assistance across both county and club teams and competitions.

“In particular, we extend our gratitude to Blackstone Motors and Clinton Travel for their invaluable support of this draw.

“It is without doubt that because of the support that they provide, that our teams at all levels and codes are competing at the very highest levels.”

Tickets, priced at €50, are now available. Full details and terms can be found at www.fieldoffortune.ie.
