Tuesday, 15th July: Bay FC 1-4 Square United – Bay

In the latest round of the Dundalk and District League, Square United secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Bay FC. This win allowed Square United to maintain their third-place position in the standings, increasing their points tally from 17 to 20.

Despite the loss, Bay FC remains in fifth place with no change in their points, holding steady at 12 after playing their tenth match of the season.

Tuesday, 15th July: Haynestown Celtic 1-0 Muirhevna Mor FC – DKIT

Haynestown Celtic edged out Muirhevna Mor FC with a narrow 1-0 win. Haynestown Celtic's victory keeps them in fourth place, boosting their points from 12 to 15 after their ninth game.

Muirhevna Mor FC, despite the loss, stays in sixth place with their points unchanged at 10.

The top two positions in the league remain unchanged, with Rampart Celtic and Carlingford Celtic holding their first and second places respectively, both having not played in this round.

Rampart Celtic leads with 25 points, while Carlingford Celtic follows closely with 24 points.

There are no changes in the standings for the rest of the teams, with Carrick Rovers, Faughart Rovers, and Redeemer Celtic maintaining their respective positions and points.

Wednesday, 16th July: Carrick Rovers 1-2 Rampart Celtic – Ballybay Road

Rampart Celtic secured a 3-1 victory over Carrick Rovers. This win allows Rampart Celtic to maintain their position at the top of the league standings, increasing their points from 25 to 28.

Carrick Rovers, however, dropped from seventh to eighth position as a result of this defeat, remaining with four points.

Wednesday, 16th July: Faughart Rovers 1-2 Redeemer Celtic – Ravensdale Sports Field

Faughart Rovers and Redeemer Celtic ended in a 1-1 draw. This result allowed Faughart Rovers to move up one spot, from eighth to seventh, now holding five points.

Redeemer Celtic, despite the draw, remained in ninth position, gaining only a single point to reach a total of four points.

The standings for the other teams in the league remain unchanged, with Carlingford Celtic, Square United, Haynestown Celtic, Bay FC, and Muirhevna Mor FC holding their respective positions from second to sixth.

Carlingford Celtic stays close behind Rampart Celtic with 24 points, while Square United remains in third with 20 points. The league continues to be competitive, with teams vying for better positions in the upcoming matches.

FIXTURES

Tuesday, 22nd July: Muirhevna Mor FC v Faughart Rovers. Muirhevna Mor Gill's Park. Kick-off at 8.00pm.

The upcoming match in the Auto Assure Clancy Cup, Round One, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 8:00 pm at Muirhevna Mor Gill's Park.

The match will feature Muirhevna Mor FC against Faughart Rovers. In their head-to-head history, these teams have played one match, with Muirhevna Mor FC claiming victory on that occasion.

In their head-to-head history, these two teams have met once, with Redeemer Celtic emerging victorious in that encounter.

Looking at their recent performances, Carrick Rovers have been struggling with a series of losses, including a defeat against Rampart Celtic with a score of 1-3.

On the other hand, Redeemer Celtic managed a draw against Faughart Rovers but faced defeats in their other matches.

In the current league standings, both teams find themselves at the bottom of the table with similar records, each having won one match, drawn one, and lost seven, with Carrick Rovers having a slightly better goal difference.

Considering the recent form and standings of both teams, it is difficult to predict a clear favourite for this match.

Looking at their recent matches, Rampart Celtic defeated Haynestown Celtic 3-1 in their most recent meeting. In the North Louth Winter League, Rampart Celtic has consistently outperformed Haynestown Celtic, winning their last two encounters.

In terms of recent form, Haynestown Celtic has shown a mixed performance with two wins and three losses in their last five matches. On the other hand, Rampart Celtic has been in excellent form with four wins and one draw in their last five matches.

As per the current standings, Rampart Celtic is at the top of the table with 28 points from 10 matches, having won nine and drawn one. Haynestown Celtic is in fourth place with 15 points from nine matches, having won five and lost four.
