His leadership has contributed greatly to strengthening programme provision, supporting staff and learners, and advancing the institute’s strategic vision within the Further Education sector.

Speaking following his appointment, Shane noted:

“It is a great privilege to take on the role of Principal at DIFE. I look forward to working with our dedicated staff, learners, and partners to continue the upward trajectory and growth of DIFE in the coming years.

“Together, we will further expand opportunities for prospective learners in the region to access high-quality education and training, providing a springboard to employment, apprenticeships, and higher education.”

LMETB extends its congratulations to Shane on his appointment and looks forward to working with him as he leads Drogheda Institute of Further Education into its next phase of development.

Staff, learners, and stakeholders are invited to join in wishing Shane every success in his new and exciting role as Principal.
