Earlier, the Ceann Comhairle suspended the House amid chaotic scenes during Leaders' Questions as she repeatedly called for calm and for all TDs to "respect the chair".
As TDs continued to shout at each other across the chamber, the Ceann Comhairle said "you're making a holy show of yourselves" and warned all deputies to resume their seats.
She pointed out there were visitors in the public gallery and people watching the proceedings online and on TV. "For the public watching you are making a holy show," she stated.
Its understood opposition parties are to meet this Tuesday evening to discuss their options given the outcome of the vote.
