Here's what's going on in Toales Live Venue in Dundalk this week.

Wednesday 31st December – New Year's Eve Party with Mad Honey + - Doors 8pm - Adm €8 / €10.

Toales is gearing up for a proper New Year’s blowout as Mad Honey & Friends take over the bar for a night built around big tunes, big energy, and that last-night-of-the-year madness everyone secretly lives for.

The band are rolling in, ready to light the place up, and they’re bringing a few pals along to keep the momentum thumping straight through to that midnight countdown!

Opening the night is singer/songwriter ACE and main support is Gabrielle & Vali, a rising Irish electronic music duo, known for high-energy sets blending Drum & Bass, Breakbeats, and Garage, featuring singer-songwriter Vali on vocals and production by Gabrielle.

Bringing "good vibes only" the duo have gained serious traction in Ireland's music scene with live performances and a distinct, soulful sound.

Doors open at 8pm, admission is just €8 on sale @ Eventbrite or €10 on the night, and the plan is simple: great music, good company, and a countdown worth remembering.

A no-fuss, full-tilt New Year’s Eve — exactly the way Toales likes it.

Friday 02 January - Fireside Session presents Mark Corcoran + special guests - Toales, Dundalk - Starts 9pm – Free admission.

For the entire month of January, the much-loved Fireside Sessions steps out of its usual weekly slot and takes centre stage, turning the venue into a full-blown acoustic hub.

Expect an expertly curated run of intimate performances, showcasing the very best acoustic artists from the local scene alongside standout national acts.

Gigs take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout January, creating a warm, close-up live music experience to kick off the new year properly — with free admission every single night.

The January run launches on Friday 2nd January with a strong opening bill led by Mark Corcoran, joined by special guests Zoe Backwell, Roisin Ward Morrow and Sophie Coyle.

It’s a night built around original songs, stripped-back performances and the relaxed, attentive atmosphere Fireside Sessions has become known for.

Music gets underway from around 9pm, and as always with Fireside Sessions, entry is completely free — just come early, get comfortable, and enjoy some exceptional acoustic music up close.

Saturday 03 January - Fireside Sessions Presents Oceans Myth + Fog - Toales, Dundalk - Show starts 9pm – Free admission.

Throughout January, Fireside Sessions broadens its scope and turns Toales into a regular gathering point for acoustic and stripped-back live music.

Taking place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the run offers a steady flow of original performances in a relaxed, informal setting — all with free admission, making it an easy way to ease into the new year.

On Saturday 3rd January, the focus falls on Oceans Myth + Fog, two Fireside regulars who approach songwriting from different angles but share a feel for atmosphere and restraint.

Headliner is Dundalk singer-songwriter Ocean’s Myth, whose strikingly original songs are brought to life by her distinctive voice and rhythmic guitar style — a sound that feels tailor-made for the Fireside stage. while Fog brings a more minimalist electro style, with highly original lyrics and live performances.

Music starts at 9pm, and with no charge at the door, it’s a straightforward invitation: arrive early, find a seat, and settle in for a night of considered live music in an unforced setting.
