Musical theatre summer camps in Dundalk's An Táin

Keep the kids inspired this summer with one of An Táin Arts Centre’s summer camps.

An Táin Arts Centre and From the Top Stage School said they are delighted to present Camp a Million Dreams, a two-week musical theatre summer camp for ages six to 18 years from June 30th.

Week one runs from June 30th to July 4th and the second week runs from July 7th to July 11th.

The summer camp will end with a full scale musical production based on some themes and songs from the hit movie The Greatest Showman on Saturday 12th July.

This unique summer camp offers classes in dance, singing, drama, stage craft and arts and crafts and ACRO, a style of dance that blends classical dance techniques with acrobatic elements.

Prices are €190 per child (two week camp) + €1.50 Booking Fee per child. Discounts available for siblings, only available at our Box Office 042 9332332. All deposits are non refundable except in case of cancellation of the event.

There is also a Tots camp, for ages three to five years, that runs for the same dates, from 10am – 1pm.

The tots take part in classes in drama, dancing, music, arts and crafts.

The camp is a fantastic way to introduce younger boys and girls to the performing arts. Each week the camp takes on a different theme and different material is taught to the chidren making each week, unique, fresh and fun.

Parents and friends will be invited to a lunchtime showcase each Friday at 12:30pm to see their performance.

Price is €65 per week + €1.50 Booking Fee Per ticket. Limited Spaces still available in Tots Camp, ages six to nine years camp and 14 to18 years. Ages 10 to 13 years is sold out.

Showman Camp by Grow Music - 14th – 18th July

An Táin Arts Centre School of Music presented by Grow Music also have this specialised musical summer camp, that will help each child explore their individual musical expression, compose their own music, and learn show-stopper songs from movies and musicals.

Every day campers will have band jams, creative crafts, drumming circles and choir.

The exceptional pro musician leaders spend time with each camper ensuring the best musicianship and creativity possible.
Ages seven to 15 – No experience necessary. All instruments welcome.
