Dundalk's Toales host live music and craft market

NoVendors will take to the stage in Toales

There's a range of live music events in Toales this week.

Thursday 6th June - Fireside Sessions present Rory Shaun + Eoin Miller, Free Admission, starts 9pm

Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside by the fire in the bar, always free admission, and is delighted to see the return of Rory Shaun to Toales, along with support Eoin Miller.

Rory Shaun really impressed a packed Toales when he supported Shock Sorrow back in April, so much so that they demanded this headline show, which will showcase his alt 90's-inspired songwriting and personal, introspective lyrics.

Support on the night comes from Eoin Miller.

Friday 7th June - The Personal Vanity Project + Danny Carrol. Adm €5, doors 8pm.

Formed during lockdown by producer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and all-round Limerick indie king Chris Quigley, The Personal Vanity Project is a new proposition sourced from high-spec parts in drummer/vocalist Brendan McInerney (Bleeding Heart Pigeons) and James Reidy (His Father’s Voice) on keyboards/space FX.

With a sound reminiscent of the more experimental, spaced-out indie rock touchstones like Sonic Youth, Stereolab and Spacemen 3, they recorded ten songs in five days in Start Together Studios with Chris Ryan (Robocobra Quartet, Just Mustard) and they debut in Toales Friday 7th June, bringing singer/songwriter Danny Carrol with them.

Saturday 8th June - Pop-Up Craft Fair Opens 12pm - 5pm

KITSCH BITSCH & Toales are back again with another Pop-Up Craft Fair on May 4th with local artisans & local crafters catering for everyone's tastes and needs.

Saturday 8th June - Battle Of The Bands GRAND FINAL - Adm €5, Doors 8pm

It's The Grand Final of Toale's Battle Of The bands, raising much needed funds for the North Louth Hospice, featuring five bands of outstanding quality with one winner walking away with €500 - Dundalk's Killjoy, NoVendors from Cavan , Belfast four-piece Mr Pink, Dublin's Nonelected and also from Belfast Cut Rubber.
