Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for four counties along the west coast ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
The status yellow warning, which was issued this Friday morning and which takes effect at 8pm on Sunday, applies to Clare, Kerry, Galway and Mayo.
The forecaster says "heavy rain coupled with strong and gusty southerly winds" can be expected, especially in exposed areas.

Potential impacts include localised flooding, damage to temporary structures, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
Met Eireann says the warning will remain in place in 8am on Monday.
Motorists and other road users are being urged to exercise caution if travelling on Sunday night or Monday when the warning is in effect.
