Jonny Sheridan scored the only goal as Square United picked up their first win of the campaign away to Bailieboro on Friday night.
The Ardee men dominated the opening period, going close on numerous occasions as Bailieboro were forced to soak up pressure.
And Square’s dominance continued after the break. Indeed, they had hit the ’bar four times before finally making the breakthrough when Sheridan arrowed a left-footed effort to the net - the stroke of fortune Tony Boyle’s men deserved.
