Louth's O'Byrne Cup clash with Wexford has been moved to Darver with a 5pm throw-in time.

The match was originally scheduled for Dundalk at 2pm, with Dowdallshill thought to be the venue.

This proposal drew the ire of some GAA supporters in the county when it emerged that Dundalk Young Irelands' Leinster JFC final versus St. Brigid's in Drogheda would be staged against the inter-county fixture. The Irelands match starts at 1:30pm.

However, Louth GAA announced earlier today that Wayne Kierans' opening competitive affair has now been switched to avoid conflict.
