NEFL postpone all matches scheduled for this weekend

All games scheduled to go ahead in the North East Football League throughout this week and over the weekend, Wednesday, February 28 - Sunday, March 4, have been postponed.

Seven local teams were due for involvement across league and cup competitions. However, after heavy snowfall over night and with the bleak forecast, fixtures secretary Declan Jordon has notified all clubs of the decision.

Ardee Celtic's Premier Division clash with Boyne Harps was called off last night, while their visit to Kingscourt Harps on Friday night has also fallen foul of the weather.

The other local postponements include; Navan Town vs Rock Celtic (Division One), Redeemer Celtic vs Bailieboro (Division Two), Woodview Celtic vs Rathkenny Rovers (Division Two), Bellurgan United vs Kentstown Rovers (Tully Cup), Square United vs Trim Town (Tully Cup) and Albion Rovers vs Bay FC (Fitzsimons Cup)
