All-Ireland winner to guest speak at Louth GAA forum

Five-time All-Ireland winner DJ Carey will be among those to guest speak at the upcoming Louth GAA Youth Forum.

The event, organised by the Louth County Board, will take place at Darver Centre of Excellence on Saturday, December 2 and is open to boys and girls between the ages of 15 to 18. Though, there is a maximum number of two people from each club.

Carey is the main attraction of the afternoon, while former Offaly footballer Niall McNamee will also hold a clinic where he will discuss health and well-being.

Registration begins at 9:30am followed by an opening address/welcome and group discussion. Lunch will be provided.

The forum will close at 2:45pm. Anyone interested should contact their club secretary. The closing date for applications is Wednesday, November 29.
