Muirhevnamor FC 4-2 Rock Celtic

Muirhevnamor put their recent 1st defeat of the season to Quay Celtic firmly behind them with a 4-2 victory over a very good Rock Celtic team, to remain top of the.

Premier league, veteran Micky O'Kane opened the scoreline with his 4th strike of the campaign.

Tyler Chiduza added to the home sides tally before Adam Gartland and Colm Lynch kept this thrilling match on a knife edge.

The homeside gradually got on top in the second half with Adam Moystyn's maiden goal of the season and Brendan Hughes bringing his seasons tally to 6 goals.

Quay Celtic 0-1 St. Dominic's

Venue: Clancy Park. Date: 18.06.24.

In their poorest display this season Quay fell to a lone goal defeat to the saints, Dean Shields with his second goal this term earned his side all 3 points.

This performance from the homeside was hard to credit after they outplayed Muirhevnamor in a commanding performance in their previous outing. They now are 2 points behind leaders Muirhevnamor who have played a game less.

Shamrocks v Glenmuir United

Venue: Fatima. Date: 19.06.24

Shamrocks were awarded the points for this match which failed to take place and joined Quay Celtic in joint second place, both on 16 points.

DDL Fyffes Division One

Square United 3-0 Faughart Rovers

Venue: Ardee. Date: 18.06.24.

Square United earned their third win of the season with this comfortable win over visitors Faughart Rovers.

The hero for the Ardee side was Michal Szo-Stakowshi, who netted twice. Jack Dowdall with his third strike this season added to the brace to wind up scoring. This win lifted Square 5 points above Faughart.

Carlingford Celtic 3-5 Bellurgan United

Venue: Foy Centre. Date: 19.06.24.

The 'Ford were hoping that a victory over neighbours Bellurgan would see them as joint leaders of the First Division but in a pulsating game they came out losers by 5-3 and drop to 4th place in the table.

The Flynn Park side now sit top, 5 points above second place Rampart. The home teams scorers were, Aoghan McGuinness and T.J. McCabe who grabbed a brace.

Bellurgans goals were scored scored by John Smyth, Darragh Bradey, Caolon Sharkey and Daniel Finnegan who nabbed a brace.

Rampart Celtic 5-1 Carrick Rovers

Venue: All wheather. Date: 19.06.24.

Rampart Celtic who have regained their early season form were flattered by the one sided scoreline against a fine footballing Carrick side.

This result lifted them into second place 5 points adrift of leaders Bellurgan, both having played 9 games. At halftime they led by just Sean Bailey high lob after 16 minutes.

Twelve minutes into the second half Ryan Watters had the homeside 2-0 up. Darragh Alfred with his 3rd goal this term made it 2-1 in the 70th minute.

A great shot from Aidan McGuinness put Ramparts 3-1 ahead on 70 minutes. A debatable penalty by Ronan Bailey made it 4-1 with 10 minutes to go, beside his name sake Sean Bailey scored with an audacious lob to leave a final score of 5-1. Dispite this defeat Carrick are joint second with Rampart.
