Ireland's second most-capped rugby player, Ronan O'Gara, has ruled himself out of the running to become the next England head coach.
O'Gara, who holds the current record for the most test points for his country, was approached by the English RFU last week while the organisation were making a list of candidates to replace Eddie Jones after the Rugby World Cup in 2023.
The La Rochelle head coach looks set to commit his future to the French club with the Munster man offered a new three-year deal until 2027, according to reports in France.
O'Gara guided La Rochelle to the Champions Cup title this year with a win over Leinster.
