Ardee woman Agnes Kelly, who passed away at the age of 105, has been remembered as a “wonderful woman”.

Agnes Kelly (Nana Kelly), 3 Sean O'Carroll St., Ardee, Co. Louth passed away yesterday 8th April 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family in her 105th year.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy and daughter-in-law Mary.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her much loved son and daughters, Seamus (Clem), Mairead Quinn and Maura Boychuk, sons-in-law Gerry and Allen, adored Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also her relatives, neighbours and friends.

Condolences on www.rip.ie paid tribute to “lovely woman” who was “always positive and smiley”.

One said: “I have great memories of Nana Kelly while growing up. What a lady. She sure will be missed by all.”
Another person wrote: “What a wonderful lady we had the pleasure of knowing so well.”

She will be reposing at the home of her son 1 Sean O'Carroll St., Ardee (Eircode A92 C640) today, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th from 5pm to 8.00 pm.

Removal on Saturday morning at 11.30 am walking to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
