Don (Dominic) Flynn passed away on Saturday
Tributes have poured in following the sad passing of Don (Dominic) Flynn, late of Dublin and Dundalk.
Dominic passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29,after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Ward, Mater Hospital.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Annette, his parents and sisters.
Don will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children Fiona, Sandra, Owen and Connor, grandchildren Niamh, Darragh, Liam, Cian, Calum, Connor and Isla, sister Ethine, brother Sean, sisters-in-law Carmel and Mary, brothers-in-law Walter and Peter, sons-in-law John and Paul, daughters-in-law Louise and Rachel, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, by those who knew and fondly remembered Dominic, with one mourner writing,
"I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Don. I first met Don through his friend Christy Cash and enjoyed his company in the willows pub on a number of occasions. Condolences to his family and extended families. Rest in peace Don."
Another wrote,
"My deepest sympathy to all the Flynn family at the passing of Don. He was a lovely man and it was a pleasure to know him. May he rest in peace."
While another wrote,
"I’m so sorry to hear of Dominic’s passing. My biggest condolences to Sandra and your family. Known him for a short period but even then he was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Finglas, D11 ET7P on Wednesday, July 3, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon to Dardistown Crematorium, Old Airport Road, for the Cremation Service at 2:30pm.
