Katie Taylor's homecoming fight will not go ahead as planned following an injury to her opponent Amanda Serrano.
The rematch with the Puerto Rican boxer was scheduled to take place in Dublin on May 20 with the 3Arena the most likely venue following the 'unbelievable' costs of hosting the event in Croke Park - according to Eddie Hearn.
Serrano reportedly suffered the injury in training which has ruled her out of the highly anticipated fight.
A statement, released by Matchroom Boxing, concluded by saying: "The teams are in discussions about finding a revised date for the bout. Further details will follow in due course."
