He is described as being 6ft 3in in height, of medium build, with black hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
In a renewed appeal issued on Tuesday morning, Gardaí said: "AGS are seeking the further assistance of the public in Boyle, Co Roscommon to check their property, sheds and lands for any information that may help to find David O'Callaghan.

Over the past two days, volunteers have joined Gardaí in an extensive search of the Boyle to Lough Key cycle path, the Boyle Canal and Lough Key Forest Park. Despite a large turnout and thorough sweeps of the area, no confirmed sightings have been reported.
Locals have been asked to review any CCTV or dashcam footage from Saturday afternoon, especially between 5pm and 6pm, as any information could prove vital to finding David.
His disappearance has been described as completely out of character, with his family appealing for anyone who may have seen him or knows anything about his movements to contact Gardaí immediately.
Anyone with information that could help trace David is asked to contact Boyle Garda Station on (071) 966 4620, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
