Gardaí at the scene of the incident in Sallins Park
A man is due before a special court sitting late on Monday night having been charged in relation to a fatal assault in Kildare over the weekend.
Gardaí investigating the fatal assault that occurred at a residence in Sallins, Co. Kildare on Sunday 12th May, 2024 have charged the arrested man in relation to the incident.
The man, aged in his early 20s, is due to appear before a special sitting of Naas District Court tonight, Monday 13th May, 2024 at 11pm.
A garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations ongoing.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the property in The Close, Sallins Park after 3am on Sunday morning.
Upon arrival, a man in his 30s was discovered with fatal injuries.
