Ardee St. Marys senior football manager, Cathal Murray, has departed the club after four years at the helm.
Murray’s tenure delivered an exceptional spell of success, including three consecutive Louth Senior Football Championships, and the 2024 Cardinal O’Donnell Cup.

He also led the club to a Leinster Senior Club Football Championship final at Croke Park in November when they were defeated 1-14 to 2-10 by Dublin side Cuala.
The club has expressed gratitude to Murray and his backroom staff, and will begin the search for a new manager in due course.
