Tuesday will be another cold day with good spells of winter sunshine and some frost and ice patches persisting through much of the day.
It will be mostly dry with just a slight chance of some isolated wintry showers developing.
Highest temperatures will reach 1 to 5 degrees in light to moderate northeasterly winds.
On Tuesday night it will be very cold but generally dry. Just a chance of isolated wintry showers near coasts.
Widespread frost and ice are expected with minimum temperatures of -5 to +1 degrees.
