Louth Volunteer Centre says it is delighted to host a Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 18th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, taking place upstairs in Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, Drogheda.
This annual community event will bring together a wide range of local organisations, offering members of the public a unique opportunity to explore volunteering opportunities in their area. Attending groups will include MS Louth, Samaritans, Walking for All Louth, Arts and Wellbeing Drogheda, Habitat for Humanity ReStore Drogheda, and many more.
Whether you are looking to give back to your community, gain new skills, meet like-minded people, or simply learn more about what’s happening locally, Louth Volunteer Centre says that the Volunteer Fair is the perfect place to start.
Representatives from participating organisations will be on hand to discuss the variety of volunteer roles available and how individuals can get involved.
“We are excited to welcome the community to this event,” said Kayleigh, Manager of Louth Volunteer Centre.
“Volunteering has so many benefits, not just for the organisations who need volunteers to support their work, but for the individuals themselves and the wider community. This fair is a great way to connect people with local causes they care about.”
The event is free to attend and open to everyone, whether you are new to volunteering or already actively involved.
