David Kitt to hold warm up shows in Dundalk ahead of National Concert Hall events

This year marks the 25th anniversary of David Kitt’s beloved debut album The Big Romance.

The Spirit Store has just announced that David Kitt will be playing at the Dundalk venue on Thursday 2 April, with doors opening at 7.30pm, as a warm up for his National Concert Hall appearances later that month.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of David Kitt’s beloved debut album The BigRomance. The album is widely regarded as one of the great Irish albums and has featured regularly in polls amongst critics and fans alike, having sold 60,000 copies in Ireland alone.

To mark the milestone, Kitt is releasing The Big Romance (Kittser’s Version) - a faithful re-recording of the album out April 10.

The anniversary will also be celebrated with two special live shows, where David Kitt performs The Big Romance in full at Dublin’s National Concert Hall.

In preparation for these shows Kitt will play The Spirit Store in Dundalk as his exclusive warm up show with an all-star band featuring Dylan Lynch, Rachael Lavelle, Ryan Hargadon, Paul G. Smyth, Gareth Averill and Eamon Brady.
