May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Siobhán Lynch of Lennonstown Manor, Dundalk and formerly of Greengates, Blackrock, Co. Louth

Peacefully, on Wednesday 11 February 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved daughter of Bernadette (née Sheridan) and the late Kevin (6th February 2026), cherished mother of Kimara (Patrick), Hannah and Conor, and dear sister of Lorraine (Dermot), Thomas (Cecilia), Pádraig (Ashleigh) and Gerard.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken mother, son, daughters, son-in-law Patrick, brothers, sister, brother-in-law Dermot, sisters-in-law Cecilia and Ashleigh, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

House strictly private at all times. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk.

The death has occurred of Christine Scarsbrook (née Pepper) formerly of Parnell Park, Dundalk, Co Louth and late of Watton, Norfolk, UK

Peacefully on 31 January 2026.Predeceased by her parents James and Helen Pepper and her brother Eugene. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Caroline Scarsbrook and Karen Haughian, her son-in-law Daniel, her grandchildren DJ and Dylan, her brothers and sisters Marian, Jim, Noel, Paula, Kieran, Alan, Orla and Sinead, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Fondly remembered by Tina Cracknell and family.

Christine's funeral service will take place at Breckland Crematorium, Scoulton, Norfolk, UK on Tuesday 24 February at 3.00 pm.
