The death has occurred of Gerard Joseph (Gerry) Keenan of St. Joseph's Park, Dundalk, co Louth

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his beloved wife Patsy, daughter Winifred, grandson Cormac and son-in-law Gerry Lynch. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters Kathleen and Anne, son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren Andrew, Gavin, Bronwyn and Treasa, great-grandchildren Abbie and Ava, niece Margie, nephews Frank and Dom, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in the Serenity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Monday 19 January from 3pm-8pm. Removal from his home in St. Joseph’s Park on Tuesday at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Martin Conroy of London and formerly of Greenacres, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, on 23 December 2025 in London, Martin beloved son of Teresa and the late Patrick and brother of Simon, Linda and the late Andrew. Martin will be sadly missed by his mother, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, grand-nephew, sister-in-law, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street. Removal on Monday 19 January morning from his home in Greenacres to St Joseph's Redemptorist Church, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery. House private at all times. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.

The death has occurred of Brendan (BO) Mullen of Farndreg Estate, Dundalk,and formerly of the Lisdoo Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully surrounded by his family in the love and tender care of the nurses and staff of the Louth Co. Hospital, after being cared for by Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Jennifer (née McCrave), parents Joey and Lilly, brothers Tony and Pascal.

Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters and son Chelsea, Nicola, Kellie and Beau, sisters Mary Enright and Theresa Moran, son-in-law Ricky, daughters-in-law Joanne and Sarah, his adored grandchildren Ricky, Callie, Zoe, Kyerin, Logan, Lillie-Rose and Mason, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family home in Farndreg Estate from 2pm to 8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am proceeding on foot to the entrance of the estate then driving to St. Nicholas' Church, Bridge Street arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery Dundalk. The death has occurred of Philip Ramsey of Ardee Terrace, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff in Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital on Friday 16 January 2026. Beloved son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (née Henry), brother of Robbie, and uncle of Stephen and Pamela. Philip will be sadly missed by his brother, nephew, niece, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, from 9am on Monday morning followed by removal at 10.40am driving to Dundalk Presbyterian Church, Jocelyn Street, arriving for Funeral Service at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Dowdallshill Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Ray Reilly of Chestnut Grove, Bay Estate, Dundalk, Louth and formerly Santry, Co Dublin

Former member of the Irish Defence Forces, 8th Infantry Battalion. Passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday 17 January 2026 with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Bernie (née Haughey), and his parents Johnny and Sheila. Beloved and dear dad of Karen and granddad of Conor, Ewan and Finn. Ray will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, adored grandsons, sister-in-law Lena McLoughlin and her husband Sean, nephews and nieces Aidan, Caitriona, Ciaran, Orla and Sean and their families, his much-loved dog Charlie, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, Chestnut Grove. Removal on Monday afternoon at 1.40pm proceeding on foot to the entrance of Chestnut Grove, then driving to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.
