May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Robert Wilson of Church View, Dromiskin, Co Louth and formerly of Bradbury, Campbelltown, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Unexpectedly but peacefully in his 65th year, after a short illness, in the tender loving care of the staff of Oriel 1, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda with his wife Sharon at his side. Survived by his beloved wife Sharon (née Grant), his daughter Ruth and her wife Zori (Richmond, USA), his sons Aidan and Conor, sisters Lynette, Christine, Jeanette, brother Andrew, nieces, nephews, mother-in-law May, extended family and friends. 

Predeceased by his parents George and Clytia (née Legg) and his big brother Douglas. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Sharon, daughter Ruth and Zori, sons Aidan and Conor, sisters-in-law Julie and partner Seán, Felicity Sue and Gerard, Catherine and Simon, Noelle and Mark, his sisters Lynny, Christine and Jeanette, Cindy, many nieces and nephews, extended family and Connla and Johnny, his favourite people in Ireland. 

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Tuesday, January 13th from 3pm-8pm. Robert's life will be celebrated in a special service, with details to follow. No flowers please. Donations if desired online to the North Louth Hospice. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Ursula McKeown (née Reilly) of Sliabh Breagh, Ardee, Co Louth

Peacefully, after a long illness in the wonderful care of the staff in Moorehall Lodge, Ardee on Sunday 11 January 2026. Predeceased by her husband Tony and her parents Nancy and Oliver. She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted daughter Sandra and son Kevin, her cherished grandchildren Cathal, Leah and Callum, her sisters Sheila and Nuala, her brother Oliver, daughter-in-law Ann-Marie and Sandra's partner Brian, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Repsoing at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, on Tuesday from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday from Finlay's Funeral Home at 9:45am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 10am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Rosaleen Nulty (née McCormack) of Ballapousta, Ardee, Co Louth

On 11 January 2026, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her parents Dick and Betty, sisters Marie, Elizabeth and Kathleen and granddaughter Ruby. Sadly missed by her loving family, her husband Thomas, son Declan, daughter Aine, grandson Rían, best friend Martina Rice, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.50 am walking to St. Catherine's Church, Ballapousta arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning.
