The death has occurred of Constance (Connie) Gardiner (née Greene) of 113 New Muirhevna, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind and gentle care of the staff in St. Gerard’s Ward, St. Oliver Plunkett Community Unit. Predeceased by her beloved husband Des, cherished granddaughter Isobel (Izzy), her parents Paddy & Louie and brother Alan.
A loving mother to Tina, Brenda and James, adored grandmother to Clodagh, Clíodhna, Deiribhile, Seamus, Dara and Luke. Connie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law Paul, James’s partner Bhavna and her daughter Hollie, sisters Louise, Myra, and Carol, brothers Paddy & Adrian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives she touched.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm to 9.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (Christmas Eve) at 10.30am driving to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Niall E. Kehoe Dixons Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Mary Timoney (née Maguire) of “Hillview”, Belcoo West, Co Fermanagh and formerly of Gubaveeny, Blacklion, Co Cavan and Dundalk Co Louth
In her 90th year, peacefully in the wonderful care of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday 22 December 2025. Mary, beloved wife of the late Jimmie, loving Mam of Anne, Fiona and the late Seamus and Brendan, cherished granny of Meghan, Eimhin, Maimí, Esmé, Mia, Lidiya, James, Mark and Nicholas, great-granny of Margot, sister of Hugh, Pat, Michael and the late Betty, Rosaleen and Eamon.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers, sons-in-law Sean and Cathal, daughters-in-law Paula and Patricia, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Reposing on Friday (St Stephens Day) at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, from 10am to 12pm and then reposing at her home "Hillview" Belcoo West, from 6pm to 8pm that evening. Removal on Saturday afternoon to Church of The Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra, Co Cavan arriving for Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
