The death has occurred of James (Jamsie) Casey of Fane View, Blackrock and formerly of Greenacres, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, in the love and tender care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Sunday 21 December 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rose (née Curtis) and dear dad Majella, Aileen, Sharon, Ursula, Niall and the late baby Joan.
Jamsie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law Maurice Cassidy, Kieran Reidy, Colin Fee and Tony Shevlin, Niall's partner Lisa, his adored grandchidren Seán, Stephen, Matthew, James, Victoria, Taragh, Kim, Ava and Nessa, great-grandson Fionnán, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours.
Reposing at his residence in Fane View on Monday afternoon from 1pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon at 1.40pm driving to St. Fursey's Church, Haggardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph 'Joe' Commins of Pepperstown, Ardee, Co Louth
At Louth County Hospital on Sunday 21 December 2025. Predeceased by his son Joseph, parents Elizabeth and Thomas, sisters Bridget and Ita. Joe will be forever missed by his beloved wife Josephine (née Madden), adored children Darren, Adèle Kearney and Carl, his cherished grandchildren Patrick, Michael, Sophie, Conall and Diarmuid. Sadly missed by his brother Nicholas, sisters Mary Finnegan and Kathleen Muckian, daughters-in-law Nicola and Lisa, son-in-law Daithí, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at his home on Monday 22nd December from 4pm until 7pm and on Tuesday 23rd December from 3pm until 6pm. Removal on Wednesday 24th morning to the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Tallanstown, arriving for funeral mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Knockbridge Cemetery. The death has occurred of Martin Connolly of 17 Highfields, Dublin Road, Newry, Co Down and formerly Carnegat and Omeath, Co Louth
On 20 December 2025 at Daisy Hill Hospital. Beloved father of Ciaran, Aisling and Shauna, dear son of the late Tom and Josie Connolly and loving brother of Seamus, Elizabeth, Thomas, Paul, Teresa, Catherine and Brenda. Very deeply regretted by his entire family circle and many friends.
Martin’s remains will repose at his home until removal on Tuesday morning (23rd December) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge. Private cremation will take place later in Lakelands crematorium, Cavan.

On Friday 19 December 2025. Predeceased by his parents Billy and Marjorie. Beloved dad of Christopher, Laura and Andrew. Dear brother of Liam, Damien and Celia. David will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, daughter, their mother Nuala, brothers, sister, extended family relatives and his many wonderful friends.
