The death has occurred of Fidelma Arthur (née Murphy) of Lower Faughart, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Annie, stepmother Joan, and by her brother Pat. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband Nicholas, sons and daughters Paul, Nicholas, Gillian and Jennifer, son-in-law Ally, Paul's partner Mary Clare, Nicholas' partner Yvonne, grandchildren Elly, Lily, Caden, Calum and Liam, brothers Raymond and Jim, her extended family and friends.
Reposing at her home from 4pm-8pm on Thursday 9 October. Removal on Friday to St. Nicholas' Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilcurry Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Josephine (Jo) Bond (née Byrne) of Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday 1st October 2025, reunited with her beloved husband Harold. Sadly missed by her children John, Edwina, Clifford, Caroline and Roderick, her five grandchildren Stephen, Jennifer, Vivienne, Gillian, Darragh, five great-grandchildren, Max, Penny, Harry, Aoife, Aida, nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law, Helen, Margaret, and Joan, extended family, relatives and friends.
At her request, funeral was carried out privately. The Family would like to sincerely thank The Byrne Family Practice, Haughey’s Pharmacy, the HSE Staff and Carers, the Palliative Care Team. House strictly private at all times.

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital on Monday 6 October 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, brothers Eddie and Billy (in Infancy). Beloved and dear husband of Kathleen (née Connolly) and loving father of Paul, Alan, Niall, Karen, Peter, and Shane.
Peter will be forever loved and deeply missed by his heart broken wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law William Traynor, daughters-in-law Breda, Kim, Sarah and Niamh, Grace’s mam Amy, cherished grandchildren Grace, Aoife, Luke, Ruairí, Lauren, Sam, Hannah, Adam, James, Seán, Kate, Darragh, Tom and Ellen, brother Patsy, sisters Anne Dullaghan, Marie Gorham and Geraldine Watters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and all his wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home, Greenwood Drive on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday afternoon at 12.30pm, proceeding on foot to the entrance of Greenwood Drive, then driving to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Friday. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Birches day care. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.
