The death has occurred of Monica Cronin (née Smyth) of Greenacres and late of The Bridge, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the kind and gentle care of the staff in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim. Sadly missed and forever loved by her daughter Nicola (McGuinness), sons Marc and Colin, grandchildren Ellen, Joseph, Sean and Aodhamair, son-in-law Barry, daughter-in-law Olivia, sister Phylis (Myers), brothers Michael and Gerry, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all who had the privilege to know her.
Reposing in Dixon’s Funeral Home, Dundalk, on Tuesday between 3 o’clock and 7 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, following Mass Monica will be laid to rest with her husband Jim in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Campbell of Commons Road., Dromiskin, Co Louth
Peacefully surrounded by his family after a short illness in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Monday 6 October 2025. Tommy, much loved husband of Sheila née Mernagh, dear father of Tommy, Paul, Anne, Michael, Martin, Patrick and Simon, loving granda of Laura, Niall, Kevin, Peter, Kerrie, Rachel, Bryan, Sarah, Paul, Mark, Anna, John, Lily, Matthew, Faye, Alex, and Izzy, great-granddad of Maya, brother of James, Kathleen and the late Bernard (Benny) and Briege.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, son-in-law Adrian, daughters-in-law Roisín, Cecilia, Catherine, Amanda and Niamh brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home from 2pm until 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin, (A91 X674) arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Dromiskin Cemetery.
