The death has occurred of Kathleen Connolly (née Mc Enteggart) of St. Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, at home and surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife and best friend to Gerry, and a much-loved mother to Peter and Jenna. Predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Luke, her sisters Mary and Linda, nephews Darren, Kevin, and David, and sisters-in-law Ann and Briege.
Kathleen will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by her husband, children, treasured grandchildren Isabel and Oisín, son-in-law Killian, sisters Jean and Ann, brothers Anthony, George, Richard, and Kevin, as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, caring neighbours, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Reposing at Dixon’s Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Sunday between 2 o’clock and 7 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30 via her home in St Nicholas Avenue onto St. Nicholas Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery. House private. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Hoey, loving husband John, sister Alice, infant brothers Peter and John and granddaughter Eileen. Much loved mother of Margaret (Joe), Seán (Geraldine),Brendan (Barbara), Peter, Francie (Carmel), Colette (Liam),Mary (Kevin), Rita, Eilish (Gabriel), Declan (Martina), Ollie(Leeandra) and Martin (Sonia).
Grandmother to Padraig, Joseph, Susan, Evelyn, Rónán, Shane, Éadaoin, Jenny, Shauna, Padraig, Roísín, David, Aoife, Jake, Ryan, Kyle, Lily, Orán, Ciarán, Caitlín, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Craig, Kailin, Evan, Senan, Breffni, and 13 Great-Grandchildren. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence Friday 19th and Saturday 20th from 2pm until 9pm. Removal Sunday 21st at 9:30am from the family home to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen via Drumcatton arriving for 10am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Marys Cemetery. Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Drumcatton 200.
