Inniskeen Enterprise Development Group to hold AGM

Local community invited to attend Inniskeen Enterprise Development Group AGM

Inniskeen Enterprise Development Group has said that it wishes to give notice of its forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), set to take place on Wednesday 24 September 2025 at 8pm, at the Inniskeen Community Social Centre

The Group says it wishes to extend a very warm welcome to the local community, to come along to its forthcoming AGM and especially to all those with an interest in the future development of Inniskeen projects.

It says that it would greatly appreciate the local community's attendance and would like to hear their views and ideas for future projects that will best serve the local community.

The Inniskeen Enterprise Development Group Co. Ltd was established in 1993. Amongst many of the achievements of the Group over the years were, the establishment of the Patrick Kavanagh Centre, the refurbishment of the Round Tower Church, the provision of computer courses, creative writing and poetry workshops and an annual calendar of events including the Annual Patrick Kavanagh Weekend and the Inniskeen Road July Evening Festival.

The Group says that it needs new blood. The present committee has given time and energy but a Group committed to the future development of the village and its surroundings needs to be re-energised, particularly from people from the Inniskeen Community.

Inniskeen Enterprise Development Group is a Limited Company with Charitable Status, and says that its continuance is vital for future Inniskeen development. It is the channel for drawing down funding for future Inniskeen projects. Its continuation is vital because it is a recognised conduit by funding bodies.

It adds that it looks forward to seeing members of the Inniskeen Community at the AGM on Wednesday, 24th September 2025 at 8pm in Inniskeen Community Social Centre.
