May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Orla Carroll (née O' Brian) of Brewery Houses, Kilsaran, Castlebellingham, Co Louth

Peacefully, but suddenly, on Tuesday 12 August 2025. Orla, daughter of the late Tommy and Chris, dear wife of John, loving mother of Holly, and sister of Colette, Declan, Michele, Bernadette, Martina, Imelda and Moira. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, daughter, Holly’s partner Adam, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home from Thursday morning. Removal on Friday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals Jocelyn Street Dundalk 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Eileen Quinn (née McCoy) of Oakland Park, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully in the dedicated care of the staff of Dundalk Care Centre. Predeceased by her beloved husband Seamus, parents Kitty and Jim (Barrack Street), sister Florence and brothers Raymond and Derek. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters Sandra and Catherine, sisters Edna and Maeve, brother Brendan, son-in-law Barry, grandchildren Sharon, Michelle and John, great-grandchildren Emily and Carla, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday 13 August and from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 14 August. Funeral Ceremony on Friday in the Eternity Room at 11am, followed by Rite of Committal at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2pm. Family flowers only please. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.
