Peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, daughter Sarah, son John, sister Jane, grandchildren Olivia, Harry, Daniel and Thomas, daughter-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Phelim, sister-in-law Margaretta, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Rice Funeral Directors, Chapel Lane, Carlingford on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to The Church Of St. Laurence, Omeath arriving for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. House private please.

The death has occurred of Gerry Quigley Heynestown Cross, Haggardstown, Co Louth / Dundalk, Louth
Peacefully, on Saturday 3 May 2025 in the wonderful care of the Boyne Valley Ward of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Ann (née O'Reilly), his parents Thomas and Sarah, brothers Willie and Pascal and his sister in-infancy.
Gerry will be sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters Sarah and Roseanne, sons in-law Michael and Peter, grandchildren, Matthew, Shauna, Raul, Shane, Ana, Killian and Sophie, brothers Vincent and Eugene, sisters Agnes, Helen and Breda, brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street from 3.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday afternoon. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am via his late residence to St. Fursey's Church, Haggardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery. Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of St. Peter’s Nursing Home, Castlebellingham. Predeceased by her beloved husband Emmet, daughter-in-law Martina, parents Jack and Julia, sister Bernadette and brothers Seán, Martin and Michael. Unexpectedly, but peacefully after a short illness, on Friday 2 May 2025. Predeceased by her partner Brian Thompson. Dear daughter of Brendan and Mary (née Foster). A beloved sister of Joanna, Paul, Jonathan and Jennifer.
