New show 'Salt Mountain' by MAD Youth Theatre coming to Louth
The MAD Youth Theatre's upcoming show 'Salt Mountain' is coming to Dundalk's An Tain Art's Centre very soon.
On a mountainside, a group of young people escape war and genocide in a powerful play about loss and love, hunger and hope, censorship and truth.
The show is directed by Calvin Magee, and is a powerful play which explores a community forced from their homes by conflict, finding unity in their shared struggle for survival.
As they endure hardship, they also confront the detached and indifferent responses of those in power who hold their fate.
This poignant story unfolds at An Táin Arts Centre from Tuesday April 15th to Thursday April 17th, with each performance commencing at 8pm.

“This is an innovative production taking place not on our stage but in the round, in the parterre. With innovative set design and puppetry, it promises to be a moving and inspiring evening”
– Paul Hayes, Director of An Táin Arts Centre
Please note that Wednesday will host a relaxed performance. Due to its themes of displacement, war, and violence, and the inclusion of loud noises, this play is recommended for ages 12 and above.
Tickets are priced at €12 (+€1.50 booking fee per ticket).
