Does your club need volunteers? Take part in the Louth Volunteer Fair

The Louth Volunteer Fair offers a unique platform to raise awareness about your cause

Louth Volunteer Centre has announced the return of the annual Louth Volunteer Fair, taking place at The Barbican Centre, Drogheda, on Saturday, May 10th, from 1-3 pm. This is an opportunity for Louth community, voluntary, not-for-profit, and charity organisations to showcase their work, connect in-person with the public, and find new, enthusiastic volunteers to join their team. Reserve a free spot for your stand now, while there is still space!

If your organisation involves volunteers and is looking to recruit, expand, or strengthen its team, this event is purpose designed for you. The Louth Volunteer Fair offers a unique platform to raise awareness about your cause, engage directly with people passionate about giving back, and highlight the benefits of joining your organisation as a volunteer. Online recruitment is a fantastic tool, but you can’t beat the strength of making personal connections in engaging new potential volunteers.

Louth Volunteer Centre will be on hand to provide experienced guidance on best practices in volunteer engagement, including training, crafting role descriptions, Garda vetting, and volunteer engagement strategies.

Why Should Your Organisation Take Part?

Attract New Volunteers: Meet people face-to-face who are actively looking for meaningful ways to get involved.

  • Clearly outline volunteer opportunities so attendees understand how they can get involved.
  • Use the event as a recruitment drive to sign up new volunteers on the spot.

  • Whether you’re a grassroots initiative or established charity, this fair can help you find new supporters.
