The evening will feature a showcase of newly digitised materials
A significant chapter in Dundalk’s brewing history will be honoured at a special Showcase, Reunion & Fundraiser for the Macardles Digitisation Project, taking place on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 8:00 PM in An Táin Theatre’s Studio Theatre.
This event will highlight the extensive work undertaken over the past year by Jason mcGee and Kelley O’Hanlon to digitally preserve the legacy of Macardle Moore Brewery, one of Dundalk’s most iconic institutions. The project has successfully digitised hundreds of photographs, documents and historical records, ensuring that the story of the brewery and the people who worked there remains accessible to future generations.
The evening will feature:
• A showcase of newly digitised materials, including rare photographs and archival content
• Reflections and stories from those connected to the brewery
• A reunion opportunity for former employees and members of the community • Fundraising efforts to support the next phase of the digitisation project
