Dundalk school announce winners of Dragon's Den Book competition
De La Salle College in Dundalk, Louth hosted Dragon’s Den Books to celebrate World Book Day.
Nine students from De La Salle College and seven students from St. Louis Convent took part presenting a wide variety of books to a panel of judges.
The panel of judges were made up of Dr. Fiona Fearon, Lecturer in Drama and Theatre studies DKIT, Claire Cronin Librarian, Louth Library Services and Mr. Caolan Coleman EnglishTeacher De La Salle College.
There were participants ranging from 1st year to the senior years and students from St. Louis Secondary School were also invited to take part.
"Congratulations to the winning students on their fabulous presentations about a book of their choice and Well Done to all the participants for sharing their insights on their favourite books and authors," De Salle College said.

The winner of the Senior competition was Cian Halpin.
